Become a Wildlife Rehabilitator
Colorado has a shortage of licensed individuals willing to care for injured, sick or orphaned wildlife. To learn more about becoming a wildlife rehabilitator, please visit the following websites:National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association Colorado Parks and Wildlife – Wildlife Rehabilitation Information
Many of the rabbits that arrive at our facility have suffered some sort of trauma, especially predator attacks (mostly cats) and collisions with vehicles; so we are often in need of expert veterinary care. If you are able to occasionally provide low-cost services to our patients, please contact us. We welcome any help you can provide!
During the summer busy season (April – Sept), we have a limited number of volunteer positions available. If you are interested in helping us care for our wild patients, please contact us. You must be 18 or older to volunteer.
